We had travelled down from Scotland. We were at Blackpool for 2 days- no issues. We were heading to York and the coolant warning light came on. I filled up at a service station, the coolant pretty much emptied almost immediately.
As a woman travelling alone with my 10 year old Daughter, I knew I couldn't drive the car much further, but was aware I could easily be exploited financially. I googled local garages, springwells came up highly rated.
I phoned, this was early afternoon- so I wasn't expecting much, but hoped for the best!
We left the car and had an update that it could be fixed, but could take several hours or possibly the following day and may be costly depending on official diagnosis. After a few hours I was told it was ready to collect, not as bad as they thought, therefore cheaper. I felt the guy was really honest and didn't take advantage of my desperate situation. I was really happy with the service and price. Thank you so much for ensuring we could make it to York and safely home to Scotland.Amanda Cherry

I found Shaun and his Team through a recommendation around 3-4 years ago.
What a great eye opener. An honest and open approach, genuine helpful advice and he clearly does not encourage spending when it is not required.
Since then, we have taken my car, my wife's car and my mums car to Springwell and we have been delighted with the results.
I called in today with a minor concern and Shaun worked to fit me in for a quick 'peace of mind'. Such great customer service.
Springwell are always busy, which is a good indication of what they offer. Book in early and leave the rest to Shaun and his Team.

Engine management light on. Took to a different garage first and was told I needed a new turbo. Brought to Springwell and it was a glow plug. Repaired and sorted in 1 hour. Brilliant service.

Sorted my battery pack out on my Nissan Leaf 2011, quickly and cheaply.
My range at full charge was 30 miles with 1 faulty battery pack. Sean replaced the faulty pack and my range at full charge in winter is 55 miles!

Visited after seeing all the reviews and glad I did. First time coming back to an independent after using main dealer for my Toyota. Real genuine feel to the garage and staff I encountered, and no nasty surprises after the service and MOT :)
